1976 Nursing Times 17 June a53/3 (advt.) Venesector required to take blood samples from patients for Pathology Department.
1977 Lancet 5 Nov. 969/2 The use of a technician rather than a medically qualified venesector is economical and reduces the need to involve the family doctor in the somewhat troublesome, repetitive, and perhaps tedious routine of taking, packaging, and posting, blood-samples.
