Etymology: Partly (in sense 1) < un- prefix1 + tap v.1 + -able suffix, and partly (in sense 2) < un- prefix1 + tappable adj.
1. Of a method of (chiefly telephonic or electronic) communication: that cannot be eavesdropped upon; secure.
