Etymology: < un- prefix2 + reckon v., originally after Spanish descontar, in later use after Italian †discontare (for both, see discount v.). Compare disreckon v.
Obsolete.
intransitive. To reverse or undo a previous reckoning, as a calculation, estimation, judgement, etc. Also transitive.
