Origin: Probably formed within English, by derivation. Etymons: un- prefix1, lodged adj.; unlodge v., -ed suffix1.
Etymology: Probably partly < un- prefix1 + lodged adj., and partly < unlodge v. + -ed suffix1.
That is not lodged (in various senses); spec. (of a crop) not flattened (esp. by wind or rain); cf. lodge v. 5.
