Etymology: Originally < the name of George Herbert Walker Bush (1924–2018), U.S. Republican politician, Vice-President of the United States 1981–8, and 41st President 1989–93, and subsequently also < the name of his son George Walker Bush (b. 1946), Republican politician, Governor of Texas 1995–2000, and 43rd President 2001–9 + -ian suffix.
