1993 Guardian 20 Aug. ii. 17/2 Chris reckons most joyriders steal cars for fun, not profit, although he recently took a twocked car to a breakers in Manchester which was run by a gang of professional car thieves.
2000 A. Calcutt Brit Cult 202/2 The roads circling Lakeside shopping centre in Thurrock also became a racetrack for ‘twocked’ Cosworths. One police force even used a Cosworth as bait to catch car thieves, until somebody drove it away so fast that the plods could not keep up.
