Etymology: < Japanese bukkake (1744 or earlier in sense 1, short for bukkake soba ), nominalized stem of bukkakeru to splash vigorously (e.g. liquid onto an object), contracted form of buchi-kakeru (17th cent.) < buchi- , combining stem of butsu to hit, beat, strike + kakeru to splash, sprinkle, pour on(to); sense 2 is not yet recorded in major standard Japanese dictionaries.
