/trʌɪˈmɛtrəʊɡɒn/ Used attributively with reference to a technique in which aerial photographs are taken simultaneously by a camera pointing vertically downwards and two pointing obliquely in opposite directions.

The word ‘Metrogon’ is the commercial name of the kind of lens generally used, but the method of compilation is not affected by the kind of lens.
