1974 Brit. Med. Jrnl. 25 May 419/1 Bromocriptine (2-brom-α-ergocryptine, CB 154) specifically reduces prolactin secretion by an action at the pituitary level.
1977 Lancet 19 Feb. 425/1 Wass et al. have reported six cases of peptic ulcer..in patients treated with bromocriptine for acromegaly.
1987 D. J. Weatherall et al. Oxf. Textbk. Med. (ed. 2) I. x. 22/1 If functional hyperprolactinaemia is associated with galactorrhoea or infertility, bromocriptine can be a most effective treatment.
