Now historical and rare.
Any of various devices used for transmitting and reproducing images over a distance by converting light into electrical signals; esp. one which transmits images by telegraph; cf. telelectrograph n. (b) at tele- comb. form 1a. Also: an image that has been transmitted in this way.
