1868 J. D. Dana Syst. Mineral. (ed. 5) 736 Tecoretin was obtained from pine trees [Pinus sylvestris] in marshes near Holtegard in Denmark. The resin from the wood..was found to contain two substances... The tecoretin was the least soluble.
