Etymology: < the name of the Taliban (also Taleban) (see Talibanization n.) + -ize suffix. Compare slightly earlier Talibanization n., Talibanized adj.
transitive. To treat in a manner associated with the Taliban; to make similar to the Taliban or its regime; spec. to impose a government or ideology based on a fundamentalist interpretation of Islam upon (a group, country, etc.).
