Etymology: < classical Latin āctitāt-, past participial stem of āctitāre to do repeatedly, to perform (an act), to plead frequently, to be an actor in ( < āct- , past participial stem of agere to act (see act v.) + -itāre -itate suffix) + -ion suffix1; compare -ation suffix.
Obsolete. rare. Apparently only attested in dictionaries or glossaries.
