Etymology: < suborn v. + -er suffix1, perhaps after Middle French suborneur (15th or 16th cent.; French suborneur, now archaic or literary). Compare post-classical Latin subornator originator (of a plot) (late 2nd or early 3rd cent.), Italian subornatore (a1463).
A person who suborns a person or thing. Also figurative.
