In some Quarries, on the South-west Part of the Island [sc. the Isle of Portland], there is found a Sort of Stone, which they call (with good Reason) the Sugar-candy-Stone, of which there are two Sorts, viz. one pale, like white Sugar-candy; and the other of an Amber-colour, like the brown Sugar-candy.
