单词 | sonochemistry |
释义 | sonochemistryn. Chemistry. The branch of chemistry concerned with chemical changes caused by or involving ultrasound. When ultrasound is passed through a liquid, it can cause the formation and collapse of small bubbles (cavitation). The high temperatures and pressures generated by such collapse give rise to a variety of chemical effects.
