释义 | actinen. 1. A proposed unit of the intensity of solar radiation (see quot. 1837). rare. Now historical. ΚΠ 1837 J. F. W. Herschel in Mag. Pop. Sci. 3 477/1 Let the term actine be used to express that intensity of solar radiation which would be competent to melt one millionth part of a metre in thickness of a surface of blackened ice, perpendicularly exposed, in one minute of time. 1866 W.
