A medium-sized antelope, Tragelaphus spekei, found in swamp and marshland habitats in central Africa, having a shaggy, water-repellent brown or grey coat, long splayed hooves that enable the animal to walk on marshy ground, and spiral horns in the male.Also called marshbuck.
