Etymology: Late Old English sicerlíce ( < sicer sicker adj.), = Middle Dutch sekerlike, -lijc (Dutch zekerlijk), Middle Low German sekerliken, Old High German sichurlîcho, Middle High German sicherliche (German -lich), Middle Swedish sikerlika, etc.Previous versions of the OED give the stress as: ˈsickerly.
Now Scottish and northern dialect.
