An inhabitant of the Sandwich Islands in the South Pacific ocean; a Sandwich Islander.As Captain James Cook gave the name of Sandwich Islands also to the Hawaiian Islands, Manuae (Cook Islands) and Efate (Vanuatu), it is not always clear which is meant.
