Origin: A borrowing from French. Etymon: French réchauffage.
Etymology: < French réchauffage rehash, plagiarism (1763), action of reheating (1842) < réchauffer to warm up again, reheat (see rechauffe v.) + -age -age suffix. Compare earlier réchauffé n.
A reworking (of a literary text, a policy, etc.), a rehash. Also occasionally as a mass noun. Cf. réchauffé n.
