释义 | biodomen. A dome-shaped artificial structure enclosing one or more self-contained ecosystems or living environments. Cf. biosphere n. 2.Originally as the name of a building in Montreal. This was converted from an earlier velodrome (see quot. 1989), which may partly have suggested the new name of the building.
