Somewhat depreciative.
A person who composes rondels; spec. any of a group of poets of the 1870s and 1880s who experimented with complex stanza forms based on the medieval French rondeau.Coined by Gerard Manley Hopkins. The Rondelier poets included Austin Dobson, Andrew Lang, and W. E. Henley. Cf. roundel n. 11, roundeleer n.
