Stanyforth and Joseph Foljambe of Eastwood (West Yorkshire) in 1730, adapted from an earlier Dutch design.The patent ( Brit. Patent 518) does not apply the name Rotherham to the plough. The technical improvements to the design consisted chiefly in the more extensive use of iron components.
