Rogerene Quaker
More fully Rogerene Quaker. A member of a small Christian sect founded by John Rogers (1648–1721) in Connecticut, opposed to various formal practices of the established churches (such as the requirement for worship on Sundays) and participation in, or taxation for, the military.
