Etymology: < either rococo adj. or rococo n. + -esque suffix.For the form rococesque, which probably shows elision of the final vowel of the first element, N.E.D. (1909) gives the stress as rocoˈcesque.
Of architecture, furniture, etc.: having a style reminiscent or suggestive of the rococo.
