retrospectionn.

Brit. /ˌrɛtrə(ʊ)ˈspɛkʃn/, U.S. /ˌrɛtrəˈspɛkʃ(ə)n/

Compare earlier retrospect n., and also prospection n.Blount (1656) records a post-classical Latin form retrospectio as etymon, but this word is apparently not attested in Latin authors. N.E.D.
