1957 Times 22 Nov. 15/4 During recent years American workers have isolated an increasing number of viruses from the throats of individuals with what are generically known as upper respiratory infections—that is, infections of the nose, throat, pharynx, and larynx. At least 14 such viruses have been now isolated, and it is these which are now classified under the title of adenoviruses.
