Etymology: < Anglo-Norman and Middle French reclos-, stem of reclore to close again (11th cent. in Old French), to shut up or confine (11th cent.) < re- re- prefix + clore (see close v.), perhaps after classical Latin reclūdere reclude v. Compare recluse v.
Obsolete.
