Etymology: Partly < quodlibet n. + -arian suffix, and partly < quodlibetary n. + -an suffix.In sense B. 2 apparently after classical Latin quodlibet whatever or whichever you please (see quodlibet n.). Compare earlier quodlibetary n. 2.
