Etymology: Apparently < rap v.3 + and conj.1 + run v.; compare to rap and run at rap v.3 Phrases and also to rape and run (also rend, wring) at rape v.2 Phrases 1.
Obsolete. rare. Apparently only attested in dictionaries or glossaries.
In a hurried or disorderly manner.
