A rare manganese-containing silicate mineral of the pyroxenoid group, found as pink to brown crystals in some metamorphic and metasomatic rocks.Pyroxmangite is a form of manganese silicate, MnSiO₃, and is a polymorph of rhodonite, having a chain structure with a repeating unit of seven (rather than five) silicate tetrahedra. Crystal system: triclinic.
