Origin: Formed within English, by compounding. Etymons: psycho- comb. form, -gram comb. form.
Etymology: < psycho- comb. form + -gram comb. form. With sense 1 compare earlier psychograph n. 3. With sense 2 compare French psychogramme (1910), German Psychogramm (1911).
1. Spiritualism. A message supposed to have been written by a spirit, or by psychical means; a spirit writing. Now rare.
