Apparently but not actually tetramerous; (Entomology) designating tarsi with five segments which appear as four, the fourth segment being very small and hidden between the lobes of the third; (of a beetle) having such tarsi (obsolete rare).In Westwood's system the coleopteran division Pseudotetramera was equivalent to the current superfamilies Chrysomeloidea and Curculionoidea.
