释义 | protriaenen. Zoology. A sponge spicule with three short prongs projecting forwards from one end of a longer ray. ΚΠ 1887 W. J. Sollas in Encycl. Brit. XXII. 417/1 The arms make different angles with the shaft: when recurved a grapnel or anatriæne is produced, when projecting forwards a protriæne, and when extended at right angles an orthotriæne. 1900 E.
