Compare post-classical Latin prossyllogismus (1556 in the passage translated in quot. 1574 at prosyllogism n.), Middle French prossyllogisme (1555 in a French version of the Latin source translated in quot. 1574 at prosyllogism n., in an apparently isolated attestation). Compare Byzantine Greek προσσυλλογισμός (6th cent. in an apparently isolated attestation, in a commentary on Aristotle). Compare earlier prosyllogism n.
