(other editions of the source cited in quot. 1649 give a corrected reading):1649 Εἰκων Βασιλικη x. 66 I have none to defend My self, or to preserve what is Mine own from their proreption.1659 Mr. Pryn's Good Old Cause stated & Stunted 15 So as to preserve the Parliament (for future) from the like Proreption or Perpetration of any.
