Origin: A borrowing from French. Etymon: French préjudiciable.
Etymology: < Middle French, French préjudiciable detrimental, prejudicial (1266 in Old French as prejudiciable ) < préjudicier (see prejudice v.) + -able -able suffix. Compare slightly earlier prejudicial adj.1The post-classical Latin form praeiudiciabilis found in some dictionaries is spurious.
Obsolete.
