Etymology: < ancient Greek πλούσιος rich ( < πλοῦτος wealth (see pluto- comb. form) + -ιος, suffix forming adjectives) + -cracy comb. form.
Obsolete.
The wealthy ruling class. Cf. plutocracy n.Apparently an isolated use.
