释义 | peptasen. Biochemistry. Now disused. Originally: an enzyme which hydrolyses proteins. In later use: an enzyme which hydrolyses peptones. ΚΠ 1900 H. W. Felter & J. U. Lloyd King's Amer. Dispensatory (ed. 18) II. 997 A second ferment, peptase, forms during malting, whose action is to change the proteids into peptones and parapeptones. 1909 Ann.
