释义

perennatev.

Brit. /ˈpɛrᵻneɪt/, /pəˈrɛneɪt/, U.S. /ˈpɛrəˌneɪt/, /pəˈrɛnˌeɪt/
Origin: A borrowing from Latin. Etymons: Latin perennāt-, perennāre.

With sense 1b compare earlier perennating adj., perennation n. Compare Italian perennare (1725 in botany). With transitive use compare Middle French, French perenniser (1572, 1553 as paranniser).
