(a) (with capital initial) a court of the Soviet Union or of other countries having a similar legal system; (b) (with capital initial) a court set up by the Nazi regime in Germany to deal with political offences (now historical); (c) an unofficial court set up by a vigilante group, or to dispense mob justice.
