| 释义 | parapenten.  The activity or sport of gliding by means of an aerofoil parachute launched from high ground; paragliding, esp. in mountainous regions. A parapente rhymes with ‘la plume de ma tante’ and is the same as a British paraglider. It's the fertile hybrid of a parachute and a hang-glider.
