Etymology: < over- prefix + supinate v. Compare slightly earlier oversupination n.
Sport and Physiology.
intransitive. To run or walk so that the weight falls upon the outer sides of the feet to a greater extent than is necessary, desirable, etc.; to supinate excessively. Also with the feet as subject. Cf. overpronate v.
