释义 | overpunchn. Computing. Now disused. A hole or hole position in the upper portion of a punched card, used to modify the information coded in the lower portion. Also called zone punch (see zone n. 9).Such a hole may be used to indicate whether a number is negative or positive, or to encode alphabetic characters or other non-numerical data.
