Brit. /ˈnɛbjᵿləʊs/, /ˈnɛbjᵿləʊz/, U.S. /ˈnɛbjəˌloʊs/, /ˈnɛbjəˌloʊz/
Origin: A borrowing from Latin. Etymon: Latin nebulōsus.

Compare earlier nebulous adj. N.E.D. (1906) gives a pronunciation with primary stress on the third syllable: (nebiŭlōu·s) /nɛbjʊˈləʊs/.
