Pathology.

Any tumour composed of myoblasts (or cells believed to be myoblasts); esp. (more fully granular cell myoblastoma) a granular cell tumour, a histologically distinctive type of tumour, usually benign, found at various locations in the body and composed of large, uniform cells with abundant granular cytoplasm (now usually thought to be of Schwann cell origin).True myoblastic tumours are now usually named with a distinguishing prefix, as leio-, medullo-, rhabdomyoblastoma.
