单词 mytheme
释义

mythemen.

Brit. /ˈmɪθiːm/, U.S. /ˈmɪˌθim/
Origin: A borrowing from French. Etymon: French mythème.
Etymology: < French mythème (C. Lévi-Strauss Anthropologie structurale (1958) xi. 233) < mythe myth n. + -ème -eme suffix.Lévi-Strauss modelled mythème on earlier terms for linguistic units (e.g. morphème morpheme n. and phonème phoneme n.), reflecting his belief that myth and language function according to directly comparable structural principles.
In structuralist anthropology and literary criticism: each of a set of fundamental generic units of narrative structure (typically involving a relationship between a character, an event, and a theme) from which myths are thought to be constructed.
