Etymology: < Telugu mōduga the tree Butea monosperma + oil n.1 N.E.D (1908) enters this under moodooga and gives the pronunciation (mūdū·gă) /muːˈduːɡə/.
A clear oil obtained from the seeds of the Indian tree Butea monosperma (family Fabaceae ( Leguminosae)), used as a vermifuge.
