Etymology: Shortened < mocketer, variant of muckender n. N.E.D. (1907) records use in Irish English in forms muckie, mocky in the same sense, attributing the information to H. C. Hart (1847–1908).
Now English regional (Cornwall).
A bib; a handkerchief; (perhaps) a kerchief.
